R. & T. Martin High School

We believe in Leading the Way with Laredo ISD leadership definition. Starting in 2021 Laredo ISD partnered with The Holdsworth Center who is an education leadership development center focused on improving the quality of public schools for Texas students.

To ensure consistency district-wide, each campus will progress through the categories simultaneously. This year, we want to make sure that every instructional staff member at our campuses builds a basic understanding of each part of LISD Leading the Way. We have a working group of principals and Central Office leaders working on several strategies to build awareness, knowledge, and use the definition as a celebration tool. One major strategies for building knowledge on our campuses will be to lead PLCs that integrate themes from Leading the Way.
