Congratulations to LISD’s February 2025 Student of the Month recipients. They are Miguel Lerma of Martin High School, Lidiyah Charles of Nixon High School, Jorge Vasquez of Cigarroa High School, Jose Luis Ramirez of Garcia Early College High School, Caylee Toler of Christen Middle School, Alessa Arriaga of Lamar Middle School, Evelynn Chapa of Cigarroa Middle School, and Jazleen Vega of Memorial Middle School.
The SOTM program is designed to recognize a worthy student for their exemplary academic efforts, community service, citizenship, athletics, or volunteer service. The nominated student should also demonstrate one of the four Leading the Way categories: Leading with Heart, Inspiring Change, Supports Growth, and Drive Results.
Recipients of the Student of the Month are recognized by the LISD Board of Trustees during the Regular Monthly Meeting. The students will be presented with a plaque, Chick-Fil-A gift card and a certificate of recognition from Chick-Fil-A Marketplace. The Student of the Month Program is sponsored by the Laredo Federal Credit Union and Chick-Fil-A Marketplace.
