MHS NHS Rivalry Game

The Laredo Independent School District’s Athletic Department announces the sale of tickets for the 55th edition of the Martin-Nixon football game, which will be played on Saturday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m., at Shirley Field Sports Complex. 

Pre-sale reserved tickets for the game can be purchased at the Athletic Department’s Office, which is located on the North End Zone of Shirley Field.  Reserved tickets will be sold for $9.00 and only cash will be accepted. The athletic office will only be open for ticket sales Monday, October 31, and Tuesday, November 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Beginning Thursday, November 3, all general admission, and remaining reserved tickets will go on sale online via GoFan. 

General admission adult tickets will be sold for $7.00, while student tickets will be sold for $4.00. Reserved tickets will be sold for $9. Anyone two years of age and older will need to purchase a ticket for reserved or general admission seats.

To purchase e-tickets go to the GoFan mobile app or log on to the district website at www.laredoisd.org and click on Athletic Games Ticket Purchase. Once there, search and click for your favorite school, select events, and purchase tickets. After you buy your tickets, use your mobile device to view tickets and present at the gate. 

The ticket booth and gates will open on gameday, Saturday, November 5, at 5:30 p.m. A limited number of general admission tickets will be sold at the gate. All tickets on game day will be sold for $7.00. GoFan tickets are highly encouraged to ensure entrance to game including reserved seating if available. 

The LISD Gold Card for Senior Citizens, Laredo ISD Veterans Card, and UIL passes will also be accepted at the gate. 

Additional parking for the game will be available at Leyendecker Elementary, Christen Middle, and Martin High Schools, and Veterans Field.

The LISD Police Department will be conducting security checks at all entrances. All handbags will be searched. No weapons, backpacks, alcohol, or outside food and beverages will be allowed on district property, which includes the Jesus Martinez Performing Arts Complex, Martin High, Christen Middle, and Leyendecker Elementary Schools, and Veterans Field parking lots. Parking lots will open at 5:00 p.m.
